presents... THE 2025 PURRFECT PAGE-TURNER AWARD© NOW OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS/SUBMISSIONS! Award Description The Purrfect Page-Turner Award© (PPTA) is given annually to an outstanding, cat-themed children’s book. The winning author and illustrator each receive a plaque, 25 award seals, and a cash prize of $500. Sponsor The Award is sponsored by Paws to Read Month and children’s book author, teacher, poet, and cat-wrangler Lee Wardlaw. Nominations Anyone may nominate a book for the PPTA: authors...illustrators...editors...publicists... teachers...librarians...parents...cat enthusiasts! Judges Our judges are all cat-enthusiasts. But they are also educators, authors, editors, publishers, parents, and fans of literacy and KidLit.
